Maternal and child health care is not only a woman issues. it is about the integrity of community, societies and nations, and the well being of all the man , woman , boys and girls , whose own prospects in life depend upon healthy woman and mother. investing and giving awareness in maternal and child care health is urgent not only because giving life should not result in depth as the old African saying ” find out you are pregnant is to have one foot in the grave”, but because woman are important economic drives and their health is critical to long term sustainable economic development in Ethiopia.
putting the above twisted point in mind and in celebration to the international maternal and child health amen event organizing and Thumbs up social entrepreneurs in collaboration with “FDRE ministry of health ” has organized maternal and child health event called “Ethiopian maternal and child symposium ” at Oromia culture center.
