The Ministry of Culture and Sports, in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Amen Event Organizing, Hosted the East Africa Art and Culture Festival, which was hosted on June 14, 2022, in Addis Ababa.
The Minister of Culture and Sports, Kejela Merdasa, announced that 13 nations, including Ethiopia, will participate in the festival, which he described as a forum for regional cooperation.
The event was featured a variety of artistic works, such as dancing and other cultural shows, representing several African countries.
Dina Mufti, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on his part said the event provides an opportunity to strengthen ongoing efforts to achieve a unified Africa.
The festival was take place in Friendship Square in Addis Ababa’s capital for five days starting on June 14, 2022.
